Where have you been hiding?

Yesterday there was no sign of any goslings ..... this morning I spotted this little family of seven little Greylags heading towards the busiest part of the loch beside the car park.

The goslings must be a few days old and even trying to do bottoms up like their parents but they are so buoyant that their wee heads just wouldn't stay under the water.

They perhaps spent their first few days on the island or in the wee nature reserve ... well away from prying eyes and camera lenses!
