Being Human

I had a treat this evening - taken to a private view of the Martin Parr exhibition by sister Sue. What a brilliant show, in more ways than one. The photos are so bright, using flash, saturation and Kodachrome style processing. He seems to have moved to a fun upbeat approach to shots of people. Taking all their quirks at face value.

And the double pleasure of being able to see it all with hardly anyone in the gallery. These ladies were happy to pose although a bit puzzled as to who I might be. A nobody, I explained.

Then a close up squint at the immaculate Hillyard miniatures before a yum dinner in the resto at the top looking over the roofs of the National Gallery. A very fun evening.
