A Perennial Favourite

What a frustrating game golf is! You can be going along quite happily, hitting the ball straight and true then, for no apparent reason, everything goes awry and you start spraying the ball all over the place for a couple of holes. This happened to me two or three times in today's round.

This is one of the more difficult holes on the course, which I somehow managed to par. Two holes later Itook twice as many shots on what's meant to be a far easier hole.

At least there was the compensation of fine scenery, warm weather and good company.

A busy afternoon, baking bread and pottering in the garden - or de-pottering to be more precise, removing some old perennials that had outgrown their pots.

I seem to be re-blipping some favourite views of mine this week. (In other words, I've run out of new ideas!)
