Chalk Milkwort

Today's spring flower is the tiny Chalk Milkwort which comes in blue, pink and white versions. I wanted to find a patch with all three colours together but couldn't see one. 

I saw ten species of butterfly on my afternoon walk with the spaniel including a first Small Heath for the year bringing my total species for April to 14.Not bad given that I haven't been trying; if I'd visited some of the key local sites I'm sure I could have got that up to at least 18.
