Haar..

After the sun comes the haar. 'Twas ever thus. A trip to the town for a haircut and some bits and pieces. Mike walked Lottie at the Peedie Sea while I was being shorn and she was very well behaved.

This afternoon H and I did some tractor work and raked up vast quantities of old haylage. The sun shone, but no hay making was required!

A bouncy ride, the ponies still find it all very exciting to be out and about after months of being ridden indoors. We took four of them out, but there was a bit too much bucking and dancing to do anything other than walk and trot! The idea is that we take the bounce out of the ponies before the girls who come and ride are let loose on them. Great fun, but quite a work out physically!

In my absence Mike had introduced Lottie to the delight of sitting in the dinghy, on dry land.  One step at a time he will make a sailor of her! These boats are at the end of the village, the yacht just for the winter, the old boat for many, many years
