Starry, Starry Wheel...

Hmmm, I could have been forgiven for thinking today was Groundhog Day. Woke up feeling a little under the weather; felt fine riding to work; spent the day with the head down just getting on with things to avoid having to deal with the boss; had a chat with a senior colleague about the boss; felt fine riding home; got back on the bike to collect the car cos Mel's at a meeting till late (at the moment looking like around midnight before she needs to be picked up); and only two shots taken that I was considering using.

But today I switched round the bikes and rode fixed to and from work, then hopped on the Kaff to go and get the car. So I know today isn't yesterday. Oh, and the EXIF on uploading confirmed it's Tuesday. But then Tuesdays are the worst day of the week in my opinion.

Mondays you're in a fog of annoyance about the end of the weekend and just get on with it and all of a sudden it's over; Wednesday sees you crossing the middle of the week (aka Humpback Wednesday); Thursday is almost the weekend; and Friday is the weekend. Which leaves Tuesday; the smelly kid at school - it might be good to get to know him, he might be perfectly pleasant, but you just don't want to have to deal with him.

Or something.

For what it's worth I've been trying a few new light paintings after the chained monster and light rider of last week. But they're just not working out quite the way I want them, and after such a good start vanity precludes me from posting the latest.

Had a meeting today for 45 minutes out of the office (in a den of caffeine) with a chap from London (but originally Calcutta) who I spoke to before going to India in October last year. Lovely bloke, he'd actually suggested when we were there that his parents would happily take us in for a proper Indian dinner one of the two nights we were in the city. Unfortunately circumstances stopped that happening, but we had a great long chat about India, and then roughly 5 minutes on business. My idea of a perfect meeting.

The other possible shot of the day/night.
