Froggatt Bridge

It was another lovely day for walking - most unlike some of the other times Peter has come with me!

I was doing a recce of another route for next weekend’s Guide & Scout event, this time some of the Derwent valley Way and Froggatt, Curbar & Baslow Edges.

The views from the tops were expansive but difficult to capture so I’m blipping Froggatt Bridge and reflections. In extras, what I think is Hoof or Tinder Fungus , Formes formentarius. It burns extremely slowly so a smouldering piece could be wrapped up by early man and carried to start a fire elsewhere.
