International workers day, public holiday, flag day and an ancient European spring festival. I didn't attend any demonstrations today, instead I was doing indoor things, finishing some music writing amongst other things.

The day is important as a means to remind us of the growing differences in wage and inequality between sexes. It tells us the importance of continuing to work for the equality of all peoples around the world, starting with your next door neighbour, to make it possible to achieve peace and a sustainable environment for all to share.
