Ground Spider Webs

This morning’s dew and the angle of the low morning sun, highlighted the hundreds of webs in the grass left by the ground spiders.

I was outside before 8am today and working on the “triangle”. There are no plans to rip up what grass does grow there but it is mainly moss covered.

I did spend a couple of hours pulling up the worst of the weeds in the area around the gardenia bushes and the plants and bulbs I planted earlier this year.

I also pulled all the weeds and grass around the pink dogwood tree and noticed that several of my dahlias are already poking up.

I can see where a lot of my days are going to be spent weeding this summer. Ugh!
