Seven swans a swimming .....

..... well actually, that's poetic license because there were more than a dozen!
This is the River Great Ouse, in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, and it's the view from the bar in our hotel, The Dolphin. Unfortunately it's raining, otherwise I'd be outside to get my blip and not sat in the bar. Our flight this morning was excellent, we had an upgrade to our hire car, and the sun was shining - we had a lovely afternoon with John and Margaret, but we're pretty knackered because we were up before 4am, so we're spending the evening at the hotel and we'll be back to see them tomorrow. It's Margaret's birthday tomorrow so we'll be celebrating with dinner.
