Re-blooming

The bargain pansies we bought last summer are blooming again, having survived the winter. Something (probably slugs) has been having a good chomp on most of them, but they still look pretty from a distance! I did put some wool-based slug pellets down - I think they have helped to some extent.

This morning the chap came to mend the broken fan motor in our oven. It wasn’t too expensive and he was finished in time for us to cook lunch. Hubby and I had to be at our home group early this afternoon, so it was good to be sorted in time. Afterwards we went to B & Q to pick up some grey colour squares to try and match the wall colour in our sitting/dining room as we would like to re-paint it in a similar colour. We also called in to M & S for some of their lovely farmhouse bread.
