Winter Blackcap

These little birds are usually summer visitors and migrate to Spain and Africa in the winter. Due to garden feeding more and more are staying her over winter and we've been fortunate to have a group of four, two males and two females, who stay with us each winter. Once the warmer weather comes we see no sign of them.

I'm a pretty rubbish wildlife photographer and here's the best I could do with a fed up male bird in the rain.
