If you can't beat them...

Running under the bridge.

I am told there was mist on the canal in the early morning, I wasn't awake!  There was a slight hitch with the boat 240v electrics, so we rang one of the other syndicate members who is very good technically. I tried his suggestions but things didn't improve.  Thankfully he volunteered to pop out in the evening (he lives fairly locally) and check things out.

During the day it was brought home to us just how much the canals are enjoyed by people other than boaters.  We came across anglers, dog walkers, people just out for a stroll, cyclists and runners.  This shot is us being over taken by a fit young man as we leave one of the bridges.

During the day owing to stopping to phone about the problem etc we decided not to continue to Stratford on Avon which had been our original aim.  So we turned at a winding hole and moored at the "Dog and Doublet" handy for Frank when he called to check the electrics.
