A FRESH START

When we left Cornwall we brought 56 pots with us.  One of the plants was this Acer tree which we have watched grow for over 20 years.  It was touch and go whether the pot it was in would survive as it was damaged.

So we bought a bigger pot,  (90cms across) realizing it was very 'pot bound' and the plant is so happy.

I didn't like being in the wind and salty air but here is the perfect place.

Perhaps we are all like that.  We flourish in the right surroundings and die when we're not!

Today, Monday, I met my husband 56 years ago and we went on our first 'date'.  Well actually it was a long walk together after all I was only 14.

The sun is shining but I suspect it wont last all day.  Sending love to you all. xxxx
