Shoe shine boy

I've been polishing up my old brown shoes for Christmas. I'm not interested in shoes or clothes until they're worn in. I like cotton shirts when they've softened after many washes. My favourite fishing shirt is frayed at the collar so I have to look after it these days and it only comes out for occasional fishing trips. Some of my best jumpers have holes in the sleeves but that doesn't matter. They're just getting worn in. The great thing about a good polish like this is that it doesn't just make the shoes as good as new but far far better than new. I've just done three pairs and next up is a pair of Gill's boots. I might look for something else then while I'm in the mood.
