End of Season

It's the start of the knockout competitions at the tenpin and tonight was my opening singles match. I breezed through of course but only because my opponent scratched! Played my games anyway for practice - it's a pairs match tomorrow - and now enjoying an IPA and watching the Man City game on the telly.
Spent another couple of hours tending the strawberry beds this afternoon, once the rain had stopped. I seem to be working at a rate of one square metre an hour so am not looking forward to another six hours of that grind. Hope the berries prove worth it.
