The madonna of the meat stall

Cig Lodor/Lodor Meat is a family butchery business based at their home farm in the hills of north Pembrokeshire. They sell their excellent products right out of the farmyard and at several markets locally and around south Wales: sausages and bacon in huge variety, all sorts of offal, and traditional cuts of meat beautifully hand-prepared and presented.

The butcher's daughter (or daughter-in-law, I'm not sure) is herself a producer of fine sons. This one, named Tirion, is her latest, though not, I think, for sale. A few years ago I photographed his twin brothers, also shortly before Christmas and more suitably appareled - do take a look because I guarantee it will raise a smile!
