Sheepish berries

Our local holly being berry-less I had to use Cotoneaster as a stand-in for my mid-winter bouquet.

'Gangster' the sheep looks down his nose at the substitution. He's painted by blipper and artist Pat Bell whose journal always repays a visit. I'm so glad I took the opportunity a few weeks ago to purchase one of her sheep while they were still available. The painting arrived beautifully packed with all sorts of freebies as well. Getting it framed is on my New Year to-do list.
