Whitstable fishing boats

Yesterday it poured with rain - all day and l only went out very briefly so, in the words of Blue Peter, "here's one l made earlier". I took this photo of Whitstable last week when we went over there for the day. On the right, in front of the silo, is the old Thames barge, Gladys; built in 1902 she has carried a variety of cargoes over the century including beer, grain and now people. She takes people out and along the Kent coast in the summer, l may look in to doing that this summer.
