The allotment path

One thing we are allowed to do in this lockdown in the UK is go to the allotment. We are taking full advantage of this and spending 3 - 4 hours there every day. We started at a disadvantage to most other people as we arrived back from NZ later than usual so have had to beaver away to catch up . Everyone has been very kind, someone mowed our lawn for us and others have grown a few extra plants for us. We are now ready to start planting but as the temperature is due to drop significantly (by about10 degrees) tomorrow will wait until the warmer temperatures return.
Look at this photo and remember it is London, a city with a population of 9 million people, looks more like the countryside doesn't it.

On another note we had a delicious takeaway from our favourite Italian trattoria last night. We rang up and placed our order and at the allotted time walked down collected it.
