Double Sundial

Still searching for a piece of wood for a mantle shelf we were in Fife, finding a nice specimen but not quite what we are after. In need of refreshment afterwards we found the lovely sundial cafe in Limekilns, with the original sundial, dated 1689, mounted above. Unlike the one in Roslin, it even has one complete and one part gnomon and reads the correct time.

We then drove to Burntisland for a walk, where orange-tip butterflies flittered around, but one male took his ease among daisy flowers, presumably thinking he was camouflaged - not so, as the extra photo proves!
