So Many books

   Was reading Danny Gregory’s “An Illustrated Life..drawing inspiration from the private sketchbooks of artists, illustrators and designers.”  (suggested by blipper Wildwood)   This made me want to have an ongoing sketchbook…which I don’t have.  But I’m trying to get Fiona used to it.    Too much photography and also now, sketches on the ipad.  What to do?  Also made me want to organize therm a bit with some rummaging around in the studio today, very slight progress on Mom’s book.     The blip is all old travel journals…the one on its side is a lovely special handmade paper and leather book from Venice…Some are handmade by me, trying different formats.   Now I make Blurb books.  Things change.   Not sure for the better.  Life just gets more complicated….

DIL A, who has worked for 23 years for Microsoft, got “RIF’ed this week (Reduction In Force) along with her whole “usability” department.   How’s that for change bringing on complications.   she’s hoping to get rehired there but feels like a lady dinosaur without the best chances.  Our son is the stay at home Dad right now so this will be pretty different for awhile.  the boys might like it?
