Twilight Fantasy

Another day of work followed by rewards. Valerie and Arthur worked very hard on their studying again this morning. Then, in the afternoon, we headed for Umeda. First of all we watched a five piece brass band, called Hibiki, performing in Diamor. They must have known I was coming because the tuba player performed a solo of Darth Vader's Theme.

We then went to Herbis Plaza Ent to see a short gospel concert. It was a duet and I am sure they were the parents of a boy in my class several years ago; they were professional singers and they looked very similar. They sang a beautiful rendition of Love Lift Us Up Where We Belong. We bumped into the same Santa Claus walking around the shopping centre three times. He must have thought we were stalking him and he made a deliberate point of not giving Valerie and Arthur any more chocolates from his basket on the third encounter. To be fair, they didn't ask him to; they just happened to walk by him.

After a meal at the Fujiya restaurant we took in the Twilight Fantasy illuminations at J.R. Osaka Station, seen in this blip. Very beautiful.

Now that Arthur has finished all of his holiday homework, I am looking forward to spending the whole day out together tomorrow.
