An allium bud, the individual flowers seem to be fighting to get out.

A mellow kind of Saturday.  The morning was spent with some of the parents as Jamie's wheelchair basketball club, friends i have not seen for a while.  A good catch-up on people's news.  The rest of the day has been spent outside, garden tidying and some plant potting.  Dinner in the sunshine, in the summerhouse where I now sit blipping :-)

Jamie's PIP application has been granted but the letter tells us that he will not be paid anything while he is in hospital.  This is incorrect as a ruling in 2016 changed the law for under 18's recognising that families continue to provide materially and to care for children in hospital.  Hard not to be cynical as to why this information is not shared with everyone at the time the decision is passed on :-/
