One less Sumburgh Puffin

Puffins are having a pretty tough time at the moment - we keep trashing their sand-eel supplies and they're on the IUCN red list.  And worse yet, otters seem to have taken to climbing the cliffs at Sumburgh Head to hunt them.

Thank you to the local couple who pointed out the event to me. They'd spotted the otter tucking in to a puffin (see the extra).  While we were watching the otter dragged the puffin into one of the burrows - presumably so he could finish his dinner in peace. About 15 minutes later the otter briefly reappeared to check if the coast was clear, once he'd established that it wasn't, he retreated back into the burrow.
