Home sweet home

After the success we f the concerts last night, we finished packing and left the cases outside the cabin so they could be placed on the dock for us to collect in the morning.

Alarm set for just after 6 as we were due to be collected at 7.30 and wanted to be ready. Best laid plans and all that and we had plenty of time to spare as we’re finally off the shop for 8 and on the bus by 8.20. Quick trip to the airport and the joys of checkin - slightly over our weight limit but they let us through - phew.

Took off about on time and landed at 1.20 UK time - made our pick up tocollect the car and were home around 3.30. Unpacked and sorted the washing - 3 loads done so far and 2 to go in the morning as after a lovelybubbly bath I’m about fit to drop so amheading for an early night.

Treated ourselves (again?!) to a meal at our favourite Chinese restaurant as had no energy to cook. Daughter home overnight tomorrow and toast chicken has been requested.
