A busier day

Very cold here today - didn’t stop me getting towels and bath mats washed but did mean I had to tumble them dry rather than getting them out on the line!

Warmed up a little after lunch so Miss PHL and I headed out for a walk. I reckon we did just over 4 miles by the steps we walked but my Fitbit seems to think we did 5 miles - odd.

Today would have been my mum’s 83rd birthday had we not lost her too soon in October 1993. I love this photo taken in the early 70s when we visited my Granny Johnson in her high rise in Glasgow with my 2 cousins and their mum. My mum has my wee sister in her knee and I’m holding my youngest cousin.
