Known Boundaries

This little stone, half hiding in the ground, marks the border of the Hundreds of West Derby and Salford, Eccles and Leigh parishes, Tydesley, Worsley and little Hulton townships as well well as Wigan and Salford. Most of the people lving here probably have no idea that it's here All of these borders have some effect, even if it's just the colour of the wheelie bins or how you genuflect Borders are as much in our heads as on the ground and you wonder how many are really real or really relevant.
