Fibromyalgia

Today is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day.

Beloved suffers from Fibro, quite badly. It is a swine of an illness. Sufferers are in constant pain, not just an ache but burning pain all over the body; can't sleep, high temperature; (Beloved can sit in t-shirt and shorts whilst I'm wrapped up in shirt, thick jumper, and jeans); problems with memory and concentration, amongst other things.

Diagnosis ca be a bugger, and there is no cure, and no specific medication which will help, although a combination of several drugs MAY help some people, but not all.

Like I said, it's a swine of an illness and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, some politicians maybe, but not my worst enemy.
