Once more, with feeling

As the photo says, today is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, so here’s an aquilegia in the appropriate purple-for-fibromyalgia colour.
If you’ve never heard of fibromyalgia or have no idea what it is, it’s an incurable condition whose main symptom is pain. It’s not life-threatening but definitely life-changing, as sufferers cope every day with muscle pain and weakness, muddled thinking and chronically poor sleep.
It really is a horrible illness.
