School Friends

Can't believe it's over 30 years since my #2 daughter and her best friend left school.  Now they have families of their own with grandchildren for us.

The school reunion last night (for the 50 year olds .....  she'll kill me for saying that) was a great success in a local pub where lots of memories were shared and a few bevvies quaffed, no doubt?!

Today we met up at the Garden Centre for coffee, cake and much more chatting between the school friends, and mothers too.  So lovely to catch up with everyone again.

Mr T has been busy at the Balloon Festival in Telford Town Park where the gliding Club has a glider there to promote the wonders of glider flight and there's been the annual 10K race in our town too.  Missed it though as we were out and about.

Sad to say au revoir to #2 daughter who has just left on her way home, but stopping off in Birmingham to meet up with more friends  for the 'Take That' concert.

It's been a busy weekend all round and we're off again tomorrow with 'Matilda' to Wales, this time near Harlech on one of our favourite small caravan sites overlooking the Lleyn Peninsula and Shell Island, so I've been packing up ......again.
