Even More Symbolic Than The Gate.

Today was a festival to mark the 70th anniversary of the Berlin Airlift.
A remarkable act of unity to overcome division...Tempelhof Airport was a place of multi cultural festivity The attempt by Stalin to starve West Berlin into submission failed . The British , French and Americans had amazing plans plus the full support of all Germans. Then South Africa , New Zealand Australia  ,Canada  were all remembered for their contribution .Above you see a group of American Army here in Europe who made this image possible for me .Their music I can use when I make a film The extra shows a few statistics .These are factual .( not from tabloids) John Donne's  spirit was everywhere at the airfield as he looked on at the proof of his words :)
