As dawn breaks....

.....silhouettes of ducks and geese glide along as the estuary empties out. The sky is tinged with shades of apricot, pinks and a touch of purple, sometimes vibrant other times soft. We hear the pop of guns going off as it's duck shooting season and the smell of the nearby piggery is strong in the air. In the distance mist hugs the hills leading north east, gentle waves roll in being a little bit sneaky ready to catch us out with wet feet. A few dog walkers about and a few others with cameras. It was brisk but pleasant, lovely stroll along the beach with blipper mpp26 by my side.

My extras:
1. A posing banded dotterel who was feeling a little left out as his mates further down the beach had a full on photoshoot. The blipper was lying stretched out on the wet sand with a lens as long as someones arm, he had a tripod to - bet his shots were amazing!
2. Along the beach before sunrise
3. Looking towards Mt Grey after sunrise with that lovely golden light catching the grasses
4. The sea glistening in the morning light near the river mouth.

A wonderful morning finished off by a berry muffin and a hot cuppa :)

Happy Tuesday everyone :)
