The Waitemata on an Autumn evening

The day started with a meeting (which I chair) at 0800, and ended at 1630 when I decided to leave the unanswered emails until tomorrow. In the time in between I saw patients, led team discussions about care approaches and progress (seen or not seen), and had other meetings.

Today exemplified the challenge of satisfying the three roles I'm occupying at present.

S is out at a poetry group meeting; it seems to me that it functions much as does my Peer Group. It combines critique with support.

Before I drove her there (the host for this evening's meeting stays in a very narrow street with minimal parking for other than residents), I saw the western sky and used the wee Canon.
