Caerlaverock Castle

Back-blip 

Another beautiful day so we headed over the border into Scotland to visit Caerlaverock Castle. I've never been there before and Norm thought I would like it... he was right! Plus we visited the cafe first and had some yummy carrot cake :-)

Had a walk through the ancient woodland to the estuary and nature reserve. Very beautiful place.
