Arucas Kirk

Been a lovely warm and sunny day, cloudy in the north.

Up early and headed out after breakfast with the car.  We headed north, and first stop was in Cardones.  We then headed to the beautiful town of Agaete, and off to Arucas.  Next stop was in Teror  what a stunning peerie town too.  We slowly made our way back to the resort, and handed back the car.  It sure was well worth every penny, so many stunning sights to see.  A few beers tonight and live music.

It was hard to pick just one photo today, but this kirk did stand out.  The Church of San Juan Bautista, or known as the Arucas Kirk.  Construction started in March 1909.  By the look of it, I thought it was a lot older.  As we parked up, we got conned by a local drunk for parking, woops, never mind, only a Euro spent.  Enjoyed a coffee next door in the cafe.  Taken at Arucas Kirk, Gran Canaria.
