On the (Highland) road

It's a bit wet today with low rain clouds over the tops, so we couldn't see it at its best but it was pretty impressive nonetheless. In all the years we've lived in or visited Scotland we've never gone to this particular part of Scotland, we always stopped at Blairgowrie and never got further, so this was a first for both of us. The shot was taken near the Glenshee  skiing part.

We later drove through Braemar and past Balmoral (so funny to see a huge parking with giftshop before the entrance to the grounds) before going more inland to Aviemore. It's still raining here, not really inviting to go explore the touristy bits. We'll relax with the sports and of course tonight's Eurovision Song Festival :-)
