Art in the Park

Rare May rain for the town's Art in the Park fair today. I felt sorry for the stall-holders, who have payed their fee whether or not anyone turns up to purchase their wares. And they spend their day trying to keep warm and dry, while the organizers get their money regardless.
I liked it better without the usual crowds, though, and the scent of wet, trampled grass took me right back to the muddy agricultural shows and gymkhanas of my youth (long lost).
