Waterfalling

Early start to the day to drive Ruben and Beatrice to the airport for their brief trip to Big Island. We were lucky to see these waterfalls that are only created when it rains a lot (at least there is one upside to the rain!).

For the rest, I worked, went for a walk on the beach, and played music with Tiziano. It took us (well, Tiziano actually) quite a while to work out the lead voice and harmonies on Sin City (our latest favourite).

After dinner, I started reading a wonderful book called "When Breath Becomes Air", by Paul Kalanithi - an account of his training as a neurosurgeon, his search for a meaningful life, and then his journey towards death in his thirties from lung cancer. Sounds maudlin, but instead it's riveting, interesting and inspiring.
