Garage sales and beach walks

Our day started with a walk over to Laurie and Ron's to check out their garage sale, without Tiziano who unfortunately has some kind of bug and is feeling very under the weather. We walked back home along the beach and Ruben took this photo.

In the afternoon, the three of us (sans Tiziano) went to Chinatown for Omer's event. Some time ago he found a box of negatives at a garage sale (they have a lot of them in the US) and they turned out to be a whole series of photographs by a Californian photographer-journalist from the 1950s. Omer cleaned up the negatives and had them scanned and developed. Fabulous photos, which give real insights into the 50s in California and Hawaii.

Afterwards we went to Aloha Tower to the Gordon Biersch restaurant. We had a lovely evening. It's so nice to get to know Ruben and Beatrice!
