New Tenant

I went to see where a Great Horned Owl and owlets had been well photographed this past spring season. Sadly, there was no sign of an owls but there was a new tenant in the tree....this Canada Goose! Apparently, he/she moved in as soon as the owlets flew the nest. I couldn't see any eggs, so perhaps it just likes the view?

A great long weekend over....safe travels, as well, so I am feeling re-energized returning to work.
