Leaping salmon

We had a look around Ross on Wye on our way to South Wales.
A lovely town we hadn’t visited before.
This is a sculpture by Waltenty Pytel of leaping salmon , outside the Man of Ross Inn.
The inn commemorating John Kyle 1637 - 1747 a great benefactor to the town.

We are staying in a delightful cottage in the tiny village near Crickhowell in the Brecon Beacons.
Have had a lovely BBQ with our friends who are staying in a campsite near by.

What a beautiful place, and the weather perfectl. Sat outside until 9 pm.

Should sleep well.
Looking forward to our walk over the hills to Crickhowell tomorrow.
