Day 143/19. 'This town, coming like a ghost town'

Its voting day today for the EU MP's in the UK.
If our local polling station is anything to go by, there will be a huge vote for the apathy party. The polling station was deserted. The presiding officer folks inside said it was a 'quiet' day so far. Indeed the political party tellers did not even bother to show up and their chairs in the entrance were left unoccupied and empty. Perhaps they were too scared of facing the angry voters. And I for one am angry at the whole lot of them.
Democracy is important folks. Get out and vote. It's important. Apathy is what got us into this mess in the first place....
