They Are Back

Our daughter’s two dogs have come to stay again...for just over a week this time, as their humans are off on holiday for half term. This is Buzz and Finlay having a mad five minutes in our garden. Their other dog, Fudge, doesn’t join in the frivolity and just wanders about the garden.

We met up at Monks Cross in York this morning, which appeared to be overrun with mummies and pushchairs as a new Mothercare store was opening today, with Peppa Pig as the ‘celebrity guest’. There was a huge queue for the chance to meet and be photographed with a large pink furry costume.

We passed up on this wonderful opportunity...

We went back to daughter’s place after lunch, where I was appointed chief grass cutter as they had run out of time to get it done before their holiday.

I’m going to be busy dog walking this week.
