AbstractThursday204 Layers

This week's theme, set by our host Ingeborg, is layers.  I have seen abstract images created with layers of coloured paper and thought I would try the idea myself.  I happen to have a pack of A4 paper in rainbow colours and layered several sheets of each colour together.  My problem was that I couldn't find a way to get movement  into the layers prior to photographing so the usual post editing it was.  PS Elements has a number of 'distort' filters and this one is 'twirl', which in the latest edition you can adjust to get as much or as little of the effect as you want.  I have decided to play it simple and stick with the original colours for my main shot but can't resist a colour change version in extras (which uses the 'liquefy' filter), which Mr MC says looks like a geological diagram.
