I called in at our local charcuterie on my way back from the allotment, to congratulate them on winning a double at the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence awards last night, which they're now proudly displaying in their window. (Best Artisanal producer and best Meat).

I bought a fennel salami, along with some fine cheese and a very decent looking sourdough loaf.
