Going Spares

At long last my copy of the new boardgame Escape Plan has arrived.

The UK distributor (BoardGameGuru) has taken a ridiculously long time to ship these - so much so it would have literally been quicker to buy a 2nd-hand copy.  Anyway, that irritation aside, it looks great - extraordinary production quality as I've come to expect from Eagle Gryphon (the publishers).

What really got me oddly happy was the bag of spare bits - one of each of the bits that would be critical if lost.  I've been banging on about spare bits for decades.  The incremental cost is negligible but the value enormous - but nobody does it - this is the first game I've seen it in since the one I published back in 1993!
