Wound up in Wexford

Mushroom, anyone?

Those things that look like stones in our meadow are actually an excellent crop of mushrooms.  The meadow is developing at a great rate at the moment - the mushrooms are already much less impressive than a few days ago, due to being surrounded by more greenery.

Another busy day in the garden.  I painted the frame around the living roof, so it now matches the rest of the shed.  W mowed part of the lawn, trying out his new mulching extension on the mower.  And later (with some help (or possibly hindrance) latterly) cleared three of the beds in the polytunnel and readied them for tomatoes - we'll get those planted up tomorrow.

We also took a trip to the tip to empty the trailer.  On the way out, we passed a steam traction engine parked at the side of the road.  On the way home, we passed it again, now travelling under its own steam.  Quite a convoy - I didn't get a decent photo - too slow to jump out of the car.  But the photo in extras gives you and idea of the outfit.  The car behind the living van was being towed.  Overtaking was quite difficult, hence a good trail of cars and other vehicles behind.  I presume they were on the way to Strumpshaw.
