The Funeral Detail

My funeral detail is over,
for the family...I did my best.
Grandma Donna has now left us...
to get her much deserved rest.

We had the graveside service this morning in a light rain. Lisa had to hold an umbrella over my head so I could read my short speech. After the service, we had lunch at Uncle Steve's house for about 20 people.

An emotionally draining week for all the family, especially for her three sons, and all of her grandchildren. The passing of a loved one is never much fun to deal with. 

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
