The Next Chapter!

Drippery Blippery!!

A lazy sort of day...hubby and daughter picked the dog up from the kennels whilst I dealt with the grocery delivery. Then it was mad half hour as Freya asserted her position and delight at being back in the pack! Caught up with some general admin then dealt with a weeks worth of mail once the postie had been.

I realised then it was raining and isn’t forecast to stop for about 24 hours...hence a very wet blip from the garden.

Not sure what the first flower is, it’s like a miniature lilac and has a lovely scent. Silver Wedding rose; apricot antirrhinums; rose lavender; bird box filled with baby blues tits; David Austin rose called Sweet Memories; lots of progress in the garden whilst we were away.

The variegated sycamore with the bird box in is due to be chopped down to make way for a new garage...it was badly damaged in a storm last autumn when we were in Canada. As work was supposed to start on Monday hubby intended chopping the tree down today...luckily he thought to check the bird box first! I hope to catch sight of some baby blue tits this week :) Work on the garage meanwhile is delayed!
